The Development And Evolution Of Guangdong Rap Music Muyu Songs

Talking and singing music in China has a long history.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,it is also known as "Chinese folk rap art music",being a unique type of folk art in China.Talking and singing music is a synthetic form consisting music,literature,and performance,which is used to sing historical myths,folk stories,and literary works.When looking through the ancient literature about talking and singing music in Guangdong,it was found that its development in Guangdong started later than that in other regions.The reasons are concerning the following aspects:1.the historical development in Guangdong;2.the educational development in Guangdong;3.the regional music development in Guangdong.This paper takes talking and singing music in Guangdong as the research object.The author explores the origin of talking and singing music there,Muyu songs,through the above aspects,so as to discuss the current issue of Muyu songs being on the verge of extinction.The body of this paper can be divided into three chapters:The first chapter aims to probe the emergence and the development of Guangdong Muyu songs.First,it analyzes the impact of population migration in Guangdong on regional culture through the map and the related historical materials.After sorting out the development of talking and singing music in Guangdong,a brief description of its entire historical development is provided.The second chapter first investigates the developmental needs of contemporary talking and singing music in Guangdong through the analysis of Muyu songs.Then,some suggestions on the reform of Muyu songs are put forward according to people's needs.Finally,it describes the status and relationship of the inheritors and singing artists of Guangdong Muyu songs in the society.The third chapter is about the research into the ontology of talking and singing music Muyu songs in Guangdong,focusing on the most representative one,Muyu songs in Dongguan.To begin with,it illustrates the types of Muyu books and the evolution of the subjects of them from ancient to modern times.Then,from various dimensions such as the artistic characteristics,the uniqueness of the lyrics,music for voices,tune structure,key scale and accompaniment instruments,detailed analyses of Muyu Songs are carried out in the end.
