Human aggressive behavior has always been one of the popular fields among psychology researchers. The research about human aggressive behavior achieved unprecedented prosperity and progress in the 20th century(Trembly,2000;Dodge,2006).Many researchers from developmental psychology and sociology has paid close attention to the influence mechanism of human aggressive behavior within the research of aggressive behavior. Some researches have show that class environment can predict underage attack and other problem behaviors. However, there are few researches about the relationships among teenage class environment,self-esteem and aggressive behavior. There are much fewer researches about the left-behind children generated from the changes in the Chinese society who need our attention.Based on the above analysis, the research adopts cluster sampling by surveying 650 left-behind junior middle school students from 12 classes to study the relationships among teenage self-esteem,class environment and aggressive behavior. The main conclusions of the study were as following:1?There is a significant gender difference in the self-esteem of left-behind middle school students, and the self-esteem of male students is higher than that of female students. At the same time,left-behind junior high school students also have significant gender difference in physical assault, and male physical assault level is higher than female, verbal assault has no significant gender difference.2?Among the left-behind junior high school students, both physical and verbal assault, the lower grades are higher than the upper grades.Left-behind middle school students' class environment,self-esteem and aggressive behavior were correlated.3?There is a significant negative correlation between teacher-student relationship, classmate relationship, learning burden and physical aggression,a significant positive correlation between discipline and physical aggression, and a significant positive correlation between teacher-student relationship, classmate relationship and verbal aggression to varying degrees.Self-esteem is significantly positively correlated with teacher-student relationship, classmate relationship, learning burden and competition in class environment variables, but negatively correlated with discipline. In addition, there was a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and physical aggression, and a significant positive correlation between self-esteem and verbal aggression.4?Left behind junior high school students' self-esteem plays a part of intermediary role in the class atmosphere between teacher-student relationship, classmate relationship, discipline, learning burden and physical aggression,Self-esteem has no mediating effect between competition and physical aggression.5?Self-esteem plays a completely mediating role in the influence of classmate relationship on verbal aggression,Self-esteem has no mediating role in the influence of order discipline, competition and learning burden on verbal aggression.
