The degree of order in the environment is closely related to people's daily lives. In recent years, there have been more and more experimental researches on order, but the research mainly focuses on the psychological activities and behavioral responses of individuals in different order environments.Few studies have investigated the cognitive processing of individuals and their sense of order. The impact of processing. The “world is random” model theory believes that when an individual perceives disordered stimuli in the environment, they be primed concepts related to randomness, luck, opportunity, etc. The individual's psychology will form the concept of "the world is random".This kind of thinking may lead the individual to think that the self has less control over the outside world. This lack of control will make the individual psychologically threatened, and will have a certain impact on the subsequent emotions, judgments and behaviors. This theory proposes the individual's cognitive process when processing disordered environmental information, but there has not been any research to verify the theoretical speculation mentioned through experiments. When individuals receive external stimuli, they show changes in the distribution of attention to specific aspects of the stimulus environment, called attention bias. This study explores the individual's attention bias and time course of disordered information through two studies and four experiments,as well as the individual's attention bias toward threatening information in the sense of disorder, and provides experimental evidence for the " world is random” model theory, and provide theoretical guidance for government departments to formulate relevant policies that make residents feel safe living environment and promote social harmony.Research one adopts the point detection experiment paradigm, combined with ERP technology,to explore the individual's attention bias and time course for disordered pictures and visually disordered pictures in the physical environment. The study found that individuals had obvious attentional bias towards disordered pictures of physical environment, and observed ADAN components within a time window of 300-500 ms after the pictures were presented. The individual did not produce obvious attentional bias and ADAN components for visually disordered pictures.Study 2 uses the implicit association test and point detection paradigm to explore the individual's attention bias toward threatening information in the sense of disorder. The study found that individuals are closely related to threat words in implicit cognitive structure, and individuals have an attention bias towards threatening information under the sense of disorder, and this occurs during the strategic processing stage.Based on the results of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn:1.The picture of the physical environment order contains social information. The individual has a tendency to pay attention to the disordered information in the physical environment.2.People implicitly attach a threatening attitude to disordered things, according to the " mood-congruency effects",people pay more attention to the threatening things in the disordered feeling, and produce a negative attention bias during the strategic processing stage. Therefore, the negative psychology and behavior of individuals in a disordered environment may be caused by their excessive attention to negative information in the environment.
