Syntactic Semantic And Cognitive Analysis Of "Guo" Based On Image Schema

This article on the basis of inspecting corpora,describing the syntactic equipping situation analysis of the real usage of “Guo”,summed up the semantic characteristics,and based on the thorough analysis of the semantic image schema theory,combing out the true meaning of polysemy of usage system,according to the system of polysemy,in the seventh edition of the modern Chinese dictionary meanings of setting adjustment of preliminary Suggestions are put forward.First of all,this paper examines the meaning of “Guo”and it's usage of syntactic equipping situation based on the corpus of careful investigation.We found that the real usage can be part of speech and body composition piece together,and can also with part of speech composition equipping notional usage of parts of speech and body composition equipping,body composition of parts of speech can represent the illocutionary recepient tools by space time,etc.;The verbosity can also be combined with the predicate part of speech.The predicate part of speech can represent the action direction,action behavior,action mode,and so on.Secondly,on the basis of careful investigation of the syntactic composition,this paper analyzes the semantic features of the use of real meaning.Through detailed analysis of the different semantic features summarized,it can be known that the semantic features of the use of real meaning include pass,along,across,through and transfer.Thirdly,on the basis of semantic feature analysis,through the image schema theory,this paper makes a more in-depth analysis of the semantics of real meaning usage,obtains the image schema and its variants of real meaning usage under different semantic features,and sorts out the polysemous system of real meaning usage.Finally,according to the polysemy system of the past usage of meanings,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the adjustment of the meanings in the seventh edition of the modern Chinese dictionary,hoping to provide some references for the further improvement of the definitions of the dictionary.
