| Charles Camille Saint-Saens(1835.10.9-1921.12.11)was the founder of the French national music school in the nineteenth century.He was also a great composer,pianist,and organist.During his lifetime,he wrote more than 300 classic works,covering a wide range of instruments and genres,few people can reached this level.Saint-Saens musical style shuttles among different schools and integrates various specialties to form its own unique charm.To some extent his works and thoughts represent the height of the development of French culture from the middle of the 19 th century to the first half of the 20 th century.This thesis take piano suite Op.72 that created in Saint-Saens mature music period as the research object,from the background of the composer’s life,through the music style of study,work analysis of ontology,playing techniques analysis in the aspects of the suites six songs described the macroscopic and microscopic careful,hope these contents can provide some valuable reference to the people that play and research of Saint-Saens.This thesis consists of three chapters:The first chapter is about the composer’s life,the background and the introduction of the piano solo album.The second chapter,is ontological study of Op.72 suite,discusses in detail the theme material,form structure and use of harmony of each suite.The third chapter,the analysis of performance techniques of Op.72 suite,including key touch mode,note running,pedal use,octave playing and other aspects,classification of examples to discuss and present specific practice methods. |
