Since the beginning of the 20 th century,when bel canto was spread in China,generations of excellent artists,educators and singers have been trying to explore a problem: how to combine the singing methods of western bel canto with Chinese folk music,so as to make it have more national characteristics in voice,articulation,emotional expression and singing style,A culture that is really popular with the masses of China.Since the reform and opening up,a large number of European and American music has flowed into China,which has impacted people's ears and aesthetics.Learning from the elements of western bel canto,it has been integrated into Chinese vocal music works.It has become a topic worthy of in-depth study and discussion to innovate continuously in scientific singing methods and pursue the diversity of Chinese vocal music.In 2015,I graduated from the major of opera in the Department of vocal music of China Conservatory of music.Under the guidance of my teacher,I systematically studied Bel Canto and contacted a large number of foreign vocal music works,such as Italian songs,opera arias,and German Austrian art songs.From Baroque period to the second half of romanticism,the languages include Italian,German,French and English,Because of the complexity and diversity of the melody style of foreign works,the requirements for the singer's rhythm,the control of voice and the ability to coordinate with piano accompaniment are high.When singing these songs,I have made great progress in the aspects of music style,emotional processing,the control and tension of voice,as well as the coordination with piano accompaniment,and accumulated some stage experience.In the past five years,I have made great progress in singing techniques and techniques,as well as the use and grasp of different works' emotions.Since my postgraduate study,according to the topic of "the science and diversity of Chinese vocal music" put forward by my tutor Professor Ma Qiuhua,combined with the basis of my undergraduate study of bel canto,I have begun to explore how to use practice to test again and again: how to better apply the scientific performance and singing technology of western bel canto to Chinese vocal music works,in other words,to integrate Chinese national vocal music with international singing,To make the scientific voice method better serve the Chinese vocal music works(the Chinese vocal music here includes ancient Chinese songs,folk songs of different regions,Chinese opera fragments,and Chinese creative art songs).This is a subject that my master's degree students have been exploring in their study.
