The Self-repair Phenomenon And Coping Strateges In The Interpretation From Chinese To ARABIC

For interpreters,the fluency of interpretation is an important factor affecting the quality of interpretation output.In the process of interpretation,the excessively self-repair of the translator will have a negative impact on the fluency of the interpreter,thus affecting the overall quality of the translation.Therefore,in order to improve the quality of translation,we need to analyze and study the phenomenon of self-repair,and explore the reasons behind the excessively self-repair phenomenon.This article takes the mock conference of President Xi Jinping's speech at the opening ceremony of the 2017 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum as an example to analyze and study the self-repair phenomenon that occurs in the mock conference,and propose a targeted solution strategy.In this mock conference,the author's self-repair mainly includes categories such as repeated information correction and different information correction,and these corrections affect the smoothness of the output of the translated language.In view of these kinds of self-repair phenomena,the author conducted analysis and research,and found that the main reasons are inadequate preparation before translation,less skilled distribution of attention,and low quality of notes.Practice strategies such as attention distribution and improved note quality to further improve the fluency and overall quality of interpretation.
