The script falls under the category of literary text, which is the textual basis of the creation of drama art.Excellent translated scripts have an important role to play in the cultural communication and exchanges between China and foreign countries, which can not be separated from the translator's efforts. In order to make the script well-suited for stage performance, the author believes that appropriate strategies for translating the script should be adopted to present it much easier for the target-language actor to perform and readily understandable for the target-language audience. As the purpose of script translation is for stage performance, this thesis aims to propose tailored strategies from the perspective of performability. The author takes several scripts of XXX film and television training project as a case study. This thesis first discusses the textual features of the script, which are dominating character lines, vivid and precise stage instructions, and rich connotations in source-language.Then it goes on to analyze each textual feature with specific examples. In the end,it put forwards three major strategies from the perspective of performability: making character lines more colloquial, improving the accuracy of stage instructions and focusing on the target-language audience.
