The literature of the Liberated Areas in the 1940 s is a link between the preceding and the following in the history of modern and contemporary Chinese literature. It is not only the continuation of the left-wing literary tradition in the 1930 s,but also the opening of contemporary literature. In the liberated areas, while calling for salvation, the revolutionaries actively seek social change in order to achieve the complete liberation of man and society and build a new society. The necessary path to achieve this goal is to cultivate and reform people and reshape new people in society.Education, which influences the physical and mental development of human beings, plays a vital role in such social activities. These social activities prompted the literature of liberated areas to write and think about them. The regulation of political authoritative discourse emerged educational factors in the works. The education involved in this article is discussed in a broad sense, not in a narrow sense of school education, but more in terms of social education, which is all the education that affects the physical and mental development of human beings. This paper attempts to reconsider the test of liberated area novels in 1937-1949,and aims to study the liberated area novels in the 1940 s in China from the perspective of the historical and artistic background of that time.Based on expounding the generating context of liberated area novels, this paper explores the educational texts in the novels from three aspects: the two-way interaction between the subject and the object of education, the educational mechanism with unique characteristics of the times, and the dual performance of education. In this way,we can have a deeper understanding of the novels of the Liberated Areas.
