| Business customs,as an important research content of folklore,mostly for the economic folklore,are the thinking habits and expression ways gradually formed in people’s long-term business practice activities.They have reflected the commercial values,psychological situation and behavioral norms of merchants with a much stronger binding force on business behavior.From past to now-a new era which has rapid development on commodity economy,commercial custom is a forever important role,and the value research on its application-oriented function has been brought up to a more prominent agenda.However,there still exists some defects in the current academic research on business customs,for instance,we have the deficient atmosphere in advanced theoretical guidance and certain research circumstances,meanwhile,the research results are mostly the generalized description of business customs,lacking of discussion on the social changes of the ancient and modern business customs and so on.The development of commerce in puzhou during the period from Ming and qing dynasties to the republic of China provided fertile soil for the emergence of commercial customs,and many new customs of life,such as clothing,food,housing,wedding and funeral,entertainment and so on,had been derived,which exerted a profound impact on the local society of Puzhou.Studying the commercial customs in Puzhou during this period which is helpful for us to understand the material production and living practice mode,social atmosphere and thinking mode of the local people.In view of this,I will select the Puzhou commercial custom culture and its vicissitude from the period of Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Republic of China as the main research object,in which the commercial custom will be relatively studied from a specific historical perspective,and the Commercial folklore phenomena of that time,including customs on advertisement,exchange,guild management,sacrifice and commercial taboo,etc,will have a systematic description and combing.You can also find an in-depth analysis of its historical background,development and changes in this paper,accompanied with a further summary on the cultural connotation and the time value of the business customs in Puzhou.We are supposed to scrutinize the business custom activities created and inherited by the folk groups in a complete space-time coordinates to make up for the lacked attention to the life andspirit of local people in previous studies.Through the in-depth elaboration of the relevant commercial custom culture in Puzhou area,the article is committed to its establishment on the research system framework and filling in the relevant research gaps,as well as striving to explore the reasonable core of the traditional commercial custom culture,in order to enlighten the modern commercial managers a lot.This paper consists of six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly deals with the purpose and significance of the topic,the current research situation,research content,research methods,innovations and aporia.The second chapter mainly uses the methods of history and sociology to investigate the history of the commercial rise and prosperity of Puzhou,and give a brief description and analyzation on the commercial development and social custom changes of Puzhou from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the republic of China.By utilizing the research methods of folklore,economics,sociology,anthropology and other disciplines comprehensively,the third and fifth chapters focus on the business managerial customs,trading customs and guild management customs in Puzhou,and then analyze the local merchants’ spiritual field and the internal evolution process of those business customs.Chapter six explores the impact on local society and folk life from Puzhou commerce and custom.At the end of the paper.I summarize the inheritance and variation of commercial customs in puzhou during the social transformation,and analyzes its enlightenment to today’s commercial development in China. |
