This essay first introduces a brief introduction to the Margaret arias involved in the operas "Faust" and "Mefistofele";secondly,through two of the Margaret aria "The Jewel song"," L’altra notte in fondo al mare " singing analysis,sorted out the cultural connotations of singing in different periods and different countries,conducted a systematic comparative study,and summarized the singing rules,characteristics of the relevant vocals,and the reasons for forming these characteristics;finally,Demonstrate the influence of one’s own interpretation ability on the interpretation of the work.In terms of research methods,it mainly uses literature research methods,example methods,information research methods,notation analysis methods,etc.,through learning and observation(recording,live viewing of opera,aria singing audio and video,etc.),combined with the author’s stage practice and learning.What she thought and realized when she sang the segment,in order to provide some theoretical reference and artistic practice reference to the opera actor and vocal students of professional colleges singing Margaret.
