Abstract/Summary:
Because of the complex types and numerous numbers,multi-category words have always been the most difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Among them,the proportion and usage frequency of verb-noun words are in the first place,so they need to be paid more attention in Chinese teaching.The new HSK Level 4 exam is an important standard for non-Chinese majors to enter professional courses.Vocabulary is the focus of the new HSK Level 4 exam,and there are not many polysemous words in the Level 4 vocabulary.Most of them are multi-category words.Particular words in the new HSK Level 4 should be paid more attention.Therefore,the author finally decided to use the verb-noun words in the new HSK 1-4 vocabulary as the research object.Find problems through corpora and questionnaires first,and then provide comprehensive suggestions for the teaching and examination of conjunctive words at the initial stage based on textbooks and HSK exams.Through the questionnaire,it was found that:(1)The concept of verb-noun words by foreign students at the primary stage is vague.(2)The lower the frequency of use of verb-noun words,the higher the error rate.(3)The ability of foreign students to use noun parts of speech is stronger.An examination of the classic textbook "Chinese Course" and some HSK exams found that:(1)Most of the two parts of speech of the first-and fourth-level verbs and generics in HSK in the textbooks were not fully presented.(2)The number of recurrences of verbs and generic words of HSK level 1-4 in the textbook is not very balanced,and some of them are not timely.(3)The higher the grade of the real question papers,the more comprehensive the investigation of the verbs and synonyms.(4)The proportions of the two parts of speech of the same verb and participle in the real question are quite different.Most of them are noun parts of speech that appear more frequently than verb parts of speech.Based on the findings of the above three aspects,the author finally puts forwardsome suggestions for the teaching and learning of verb-noun words in HSK level 1 to4 for foreign students at the elementary and intermediate levels.
