Classroom lead-in is an important part of the classroom teaching process.Classroom lead-in skills are significant for teachers.With the continuous deepening of the reform of college English education system,cultivating and improving college English teachers' classroom lead-in skills are attaching more attention.It can help them adapt to the current social environment and is conducive to promoting better classroom control capabilities,which lays the foundation of efficient teaching.However,the situation of classroom lead-in in college English is not optimistic: problems such as no classroom lead-in,classroom lead-in methods are monotonic have occurred.Under this circumstance,the author hopes to help college English teachers improve classroom lead-in skills and promote their professional development through blended learning.This article first defines the core concepts of college English,college English teachers,classroom lead-in and blended learning.Based on literature review,the author integrates the related researches of classroom lead-in and blended learning.After completing the theoretical part,the author takes English teachers in S university as research objects,conducting practical research through observation,interview and questionnaire.Then the author analyzes data and summarizes the status of college English teacher classroom lead-in skills.After combining theoretical research and practical inquiry,the author uses blended learning theory as a guide to design a blended curriculum and after-class activities to improve college English teachers 'classroom lead-in skills,with a view to providing solutions to the problems and deficiencies exposed in the current situations and give appropriate suggestions for improving the effectiveness of college English teaching.This article is divided into seven parts.The first part is an introduction containing research background,research purpose,research significance,research path,and research methods.The second part is literature review that includes the definition of core concepts and related research reviews.The third part is theoretical basis.The fourth part is status analysis,which is implemented through observation,interview and questionnaire method.The fifth part is curriculum design and development,including online courses and after-school activities.The sixth part is curriculum implementation and evaluation.And the seventh part is research summary and prospect.
