The Paradox Of Subjectivity Under High-order Causation Teleology

The paradox of subjectivity is a long-running conundrum in the tradition of transcendental philosophy and it has been inherited by Husserl with a novel type.As the correlation,however,the paradox runs through Husserlian phenomenological project around the following groups of combinations:Fact and Essence;Noesis and Noema;Ego,Cogito and Cogitatum;Subjectivity and Intersubjectivity;Subject and World etc.Moreover,these correlations contain a clue that causation or passivity are interwoven with teleology or agency.This clue can display the limits of Husserlian phenomenology by internal time-consciousness and passive synthesis which recrystallize the static phenomenology into genetic phenomenology.Through the analysis of phenomenological methodology,phenomenological reduction,we will get the Necessity of Fact or Factual Necessity which opens phenomenological metaphysics.Based on the constant refreshment of the paradox in multi-layers of correlation,the author will clarify the substantial puzzle of paradox.Nevertheless,it is hard to deal with aforementioned puzzles exegetically in the Husserlian phenomenological framework.So,to introduce a new metaphysical model is inevitable.According the reinterpretation of causation,the author attempts to integrate the resources of Neo-Aristotelianism.By clarifying the main related thoughts of Robert Koons who is the representative of Neo-Aristotelianism:new causation—high-order causation,modal facts,and first cause,hylomorphic casual power—PASI theory,the author try to explore the approaches in which Neo-Aristotelian enters Husserlian phenomenology.After that,this dissertation made a minimum comparison between these two theories in a reclarification of idealism and realism to obtain the possible coupling points.Then,this dissertation recapitulates several sets of explanations of the paradox based on the ontological status of monad or substance.Furthermore,the author turns the paradox of subjectivity into a thesis between form and matter or active and passive causal power.In so doing,this will be in line with our everyday understanding of agency and the asymmetry of causation.In short,this paper suggests interpreting the paradox of subjectivity in the light of the Correlation a priori.After having reconstructed Husserl's patent thesis of Paradox of Subjectivity,the analysis of phenomenological reduction or self-critique will reveal the limits of phenomenology and the phenomenological metaphysics.And then this paper will introduce the ontological/metaphysical frame of Neo-Aristotelianism to complement the deficiencies of Husserlian phenomenology.Ultimately,the author will conclude this dissertation with the passive synthesis of monad under the High-Order Causation Teleology.
