The material for translation is taken from the book Conscious Classroom Management: Unlocking the Secret of Great Teaching,published by the Conscious Teaching LLC.The book,written by American authors Rick Smith and Grace Dearborn,reveals the details of the teaching process and allows teachers to set positive assumptions on students so that teachers can organize the management of student learning,discipline and focus on students' cooperation between teaching and learning.Teachers can also analyze students' behavior and psychology through teaching examples.Practical solutions will also be offered.With the rapid development of China's education,the timely translation and introduction of education-related and classroom management material will have certain inspiration for domestic primary and secondary education.This translation report consists of four parts.The first part is the description of the translation task,which mainly introduces the source of the translation materials,the author's background and a general introduction to the content of the book and explains the reasons for choosing the educational material as the translation texts.The second part is the translation process which determines the translation strategy of the article.For educational texts,the translator mainly adopts the translation method of literal translation while free translation as the auxiliary.Finally,the translator determines the translation tools,including Wordfast,Google and other translation software.The third part is the case study that mainly displays the typical examples encountered in the translation process,including the translation of the proper nouns,common words,academic terms,and the long and difficult sentences.The fourth part is the translation summary.Through the whole process,the translator has not only deepened the understanding of classroom management,but also improved the level of translation to a great extent.
