Zhou Jiating’s Master’s Concert Design And Thinking

As a postgraduate in the direction of Bel Canto in the Department of vocal music and opera,in accordance with the provisions of the postgraduate training program of China Conservatory of music,the postgraduate graduation ability assessment is completed in the form of two concerts and a thesis or graduation design.This kind of training plan not only pays attention to the examination of the practical ability of the postgraduate,but also enables the students to integrate theory with practice.Through the platform of concert,the students can make good use of the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom in practice.Before graduation,they also have a phased and comprehensive understanding of their professional ability.Graduation Concert is the best platform to improve personal professional ability,and it is also an experience for me.Starting from the preparation of the repertoire,learning with the tutor,practicing alone,and cooperating with the art director,it can not only solve many common problems,but also stimulate their potential through concentrated preparation and practice,improve their singing ability,and enhance their stage experience and artistic accomplishment,It reflects my mastery of professional learning and understanding of works during my school period,and shows the stage performance.This paper is divided into three chapters.The chapters are as follows: Chapter One: the theme conception of the concert and the orientation of the concert style.Under the guidance of the tutor,we should discuss the theme of the concert with the tutor,explain the origin of the theme of the concert,the meaning of the theme of the concert,and complete the orientation of the concert style.The second chapter: concert repertoire design and singing analysis,in line with the scientific,purposeful and targeted principle of music selection,with their own singing ability as the starting point and foothold of music selection,reasonably design the repertoire of Graduation Concert;take the repertoire of Graduation Concert as an example,analyze the author,background,music work analysis,singing skills,emotional expression of songs one by one.Chapter three: thinking about the practice of concert.The last part is the conclusion.Through summarizing the previous contents,we can identify,evaluate and summarize ourselves.Based on the author’s own singing experience,on the basis of the combination of theory and practice,this paper explores the design and thinking of concert in practice,combined with the knowledge of related disciplines,combined with the research of Chinese vocal music works and Chinese traditional cultural background,as well as the research of Western vocal music works and Western cultural background.Specifically,through the systematic analysis of harmony,musical language,national tone,western style,etc.,this paper reveals the general rules of composition techniques of Chinese and foreign works,so as to guide and improve their own singing skills.It includes breath,sound position,emotion,character setting,etc.to grasp the different styles and music structures of the works,and to focus on the study of different styles and the use of different singing skills.The "specific analysis of specific problems" is explained from different aspects and perspectives,so that the singers can think broadly and understand from sensibility to reason when they study or sing such works cognition,then from rational cognition to practice.As far as possible to tap the essence of vocal works,make it more artistic charm,can more accurately grasp the story behind each vocal works.
