The advancement of technology has brought a number of changes in the language service industry. Therefore, translation projects' requirements are increasingly professional.Countries and translation companies are trying to provide their insights on the quality control process. These changes have further promoted the upgrade of translation activities and the role of translators.A reasonable project process can enhance efficiency, save time and cost, and improve the quality of translation delivery. Most translation projects in the translation market and in the translation master's practice are utility texts, including technical texts and commercial texts, external communication texts, press releases and investment reports. There are few comparative analysis and research on the quality control and process management of literary texts. The reasons lie in that,on the one hand,it is difficult to carry out process setting and management like technical texts and commercial texts due to the features of literary texts.Strict process management can cause problems on the quality control of literary texts. On the other hand, there are fewer market and commercial demands for literary texts. These reasons have led to the lack of research on the management of literary translation projects and on the differences of translation process of different text types, which results in the inadequacy of references and process setting modes for projects with different text types. However,in the publishing market,it is common to introduce a whole set of books at the same time.Despite the heavy workload,it requires translators to translate all the books within a short period for publication. The limitations of time and translators, the consistency requirements of translation style, and the quality of translation delivery, all these factors increase the necessity of teamwork. However, teamwork requires a viable quality control process. In practice, there are not enough standards and reference. Therefore, the team has no choice but to refer to the process setting of the utility text.Different text types can cause different requirements for translation style. Therefore, when the process setting of the utility text is applied in literary text,a number of problems will be caused to quality control. In this paper, the author will take Double First-Class Initiative translation project and“365” translation project as examples, through the comparative analysis of the different quality control methods and mechanisms adopted in the two projects, the author will try to evaluate the effects of adopting the process setting of the utility text in literary texts and explore what practical experience can be learned in this process. In addition, based on the analysis of “365” book project, the author will try to explore the feasibility of adoptingprocess management and CAT and MT methods for literary texts. Finally, the author will try to discuss what can be further enhanced in project process setting and management, and provide references and suggestions for the process setting of general translation quality control.
