A Study On The Type Classification And Characteristics Of Internet Drama In Mainland China

China's online drama has been a golden period of rapid development since 2014.Before that,the development of network technology and the maturity of video websites have provided sufficient material conditions for the emergence of network drama.Especially video websites,breaking away from the restrictions of piracy,began to compete in copyright,and began to independently develop and broadcast content.Network drama has also begun to embark on the journey of high-quality.After that,there appeared many excellent representatives of online drama,which is not only of good quality but also of diversity compared with TV series.Audiences are also beginning to hope to see more excellent works of online drama.Under the conscious competition of various platforms,producers began to produce more network dramas according to the audience's preferences.In this way,in the process of the tacit integration of producers and audiences,network drama has gradually formed its own type characteristics from the development concept.How do each type come into being,how do they form the type,and what type characteristics do they have? These problems are the necessary process of researching the type of online drama.The definition of online drama in the past is often very vague,and there are different ambiguities among audiences,producers and scholars.And there is a mixture of "homemade online drama" and "online drama".Firstly,the research object of network drama is positioned.Then it reviews the development of network drama.Starting from the typification of genre movies and TV plays,this paper studies the forming factors of genre network plays and the characteristics of genre network plays.At present,in China,the types of network drama are mainly sitcom,campus youth drama,crime suspense reasoning drama,adventure suspense drama,delayed American drama and so on.The types and characteristics of these network plays are obvious and have strong research significance.Each type traces its origin from itsdevelopment,and studies the concepts,types and characteristics of its formation,as well as the audience's psychology and communication output state.Typological features are analyzed from narrative structure,image features and character images by using the research methods of movies and television.These common typological characteristics constitute a certain type.Secondly,there are some types of convergence in these types.Finally,it analyses the value of the type of network drama and the current situation of its dissemination.
