Flower-and-Bird painting, skilled in image and full of meaning. With its rigorous and delicate style of painting, neat and delicate techniques,it produces vivid visual effects. As an important part of Chinese painting, meticulous flower-and-bird painting has a long history.Neolithic pottery art, bronze wares of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, silk paintings of the Warring States, decorative patterns of Qin and Han Dynasties and Wei and Jin Dynasties can find traces of meticulous flower and bird paintings. In Tang Dynasty, there were branches of Flower and Bird painting, which gradually matured in the Five Dynasties, while in Song Dynasty,it ushered in its heyday. The Dynasty is constantly changing, and the times are also moving forward.Contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painters inherit the tradition, while expanding the scope of the subject matter. They are no longer subject to the intrinsic themes of flowers, birds, fish and insects, but more skillfully integrate the things around them with the traditional fine brushwork of flowers and birds, showing a brand-new face of the work.Art creation can not be separated from the experience and observation of real life.Looking at everything in life through the filter of art is not what you see or draw.It is the artistic processing of the objects and the subjective transformation of the individual that ultimately forms a work.Based on my graduation creative conception and creative process, the new style of Contemporary Meticulous flower-and-bird paintings, combined with traditional meticulous flower-and-bird paintings and theoretical works, this paper summarizes relevant theories and lessons, and strives to create high-quality meticulous flower-and-bird paintings.
