The Chronicle Of Pan Shien

Pan Shien(1769-1854),his style name is Zhi Xuan,and literary name is Si Bu Lao Ren,was born in Wuxian in Suzhou province.He had five sons,Pan Zengyi,Pan Zengxian,Pan Zengying,Pan Zengshou and Pan Zengwei.He became Zhuang Yuan in Qianlong fifty-eighth years.He died in Xianfeng four years and entered the sacrificial Hall of virtue.For more than fifty years as an official,Feng Guifen called him "the elder of the four dynasties" in the four dynasties of Qianlong,Jiaqing,Daoguang and Xianfeng.Pan Shien and his cousin Pan Shihuang,his grandsun Zuyin,were called "the three masters of Suzhou".Pan Shien's works include Si Bu Zhai Shi Ji and Si Bu Zhai Bi Ji etc,totaling 260 volumes.At present,there are more than 270 poems left.He was a top prime minister with considerable academic achievements.On the one hand,it can help us understand Pan Shien's life,achievements in politics,literary achievements and the role of connecting the preceding and the following in the family development.At the same time,it can help us understand the political environment,social customs and ideological evolution at that time.Pan Shien was a special member of Zaifu in Qing Dynasty.However,there is no Pan Shien's chronicle written in detail until now,except for his own short chronicle,Si Bu Lao Ren Zi Ding Nian Pu.When I collect the data of Pan Shien's Chronicle,I start to collect the data of the composer himself,such as Pan Shien's diary,manuscript,notes,legacy and poetry collection,which reflect Pan Shien's most primitive information.When compiling the chronicle,I can sort out the important stories of the composer's life.Secondly,it is necessary to collect the writings and biographies of the contemporary characters of the composer,as well as the poems and lyrics sung by the scholars,from which to sort out the information related to the composer.Then,it collects relevant records of official books,geographies,miscellaneous works and poetry anthologies of the time when the genealogist lived and the areas where he traveled.Finally,I collect the descendants' comments and comments on the genealogist.After collecting the data,the relevant historical materials are examined and identified,which are mainly divided into the following aspects:?.make a detailed and exact textual research on Pan Shien's lineage.?.screening and textual research on Pan Shien's life story year by year.?.It confirms writing time of his most poems.?.we should make a textual research and rectify the conflicts in the collected information about Pan Shien.The chronicle was divided into the following parts:Introduction: Making some explanations towards examplications and principles of chronological arrangement.Brief biography: This part makes a brief introduction towards Pan Shien`s family background and his main characters.Pre-score: Summarize Pan Shien's achievements,contributions and achievements.Biographical chronology: Making the chronicle by list Pan Shien`s life and experience.And writing the items beneath the outlines to make detail comments,and making some textual research and verification towards related issues.
