In recent years,with increasingly frequent international exchange and rapid development of translation industry,cloud translation platform with cloud computing technology as the core has attracted public attention.Cloud translation platform is a translation management platform composed of cloud-based computer-aided translation and machine translation engine.As a dynamo for future development of translation technology,it meets customers` demand for low-cost and high-quality translation and improves the quality of machine translation mainly through a platform built by cloud technology and the customized service of products to increase the management efficiency.Although cloud translation platform saves a lot of repetitive and mechanical work,the quality of its machine translation leaves much to be desired.Therefore,it is particularly important to perform post-translation editing,and summarize methods and techniques of platform application.In contrast to the large number of cloud translation platforms in practice,little research has been done in this field.This report is written on the basis of the translation project on Memsource cloud: World War ? in Pictures(excerpts)presenting a detailed analysis of translation techniques,namely reconstruction,transition,compensation,interpretation of emotion and use of rhetoric,adopted in post-editing and a comprehensive summary of advantages and disadvantages of Memsource cloud.
