Minae Mizumura,the Japanese immigrant writer,has gradually earned attention in domestic,the specific description of Asian migration living in western society shown in her works not only reflects the binary system of eastern and western,but also indicates the identity issue sharpen by economic globalization.This paper aims to analyse three novels and one literary criticism work written by Minae Mizumura.This paper consists of introduction,conclusion and three chapters included in main body,relevant content is shown as below.In first part,this paper makes a brief introduction of Minea Mizumura's life experience and offers the domestic and foreign present researches on Minae Mizumura and diasporic writing,What is more,the chapter structures and the research thinking of whole paper are also included in this part.Through analyzing I Novel: From Left to Right,True Novel and Mother's Inheritance,following three chapters will focus on those three topics: how to maintain the self-consciousness with multiple-identity holding like mother,wife and daughter;how Japanese immigrant living in America to deal with the issue of identity shaping after bullied by racism;the writing innovation and the motivation aroused by Minae Mizumura,the immigrant writer affected by western culture while composing Japanese traditional literary genres ‘I Novel' and‘True Novel'.Together with various ‘I' shown in her works,Minae inspired by the unique ‘culture identity derived from dual influence of eastern and western culture to attempt new writing skills.On the other hand,Minae also accept local culture with devoted attitude.As a result,Minae Mizumura is not only a advocator of traditional culture,but also a explorer with great courage and vigour.In conclusion,this paper will review main topics mentioned above.It should be noticed that Minae ‘s desire for one specific identify can also be found in her works.Her character affected by western oriental culture help to shape her unique writing model.
