The Grammaticalization Of Three Combinations Of "?a?B"

This paper takes"????","????","????"as the main object of study,discusses their diachronic evolution from their emergence to modern Chinese putonghua,describes their grammaticalization characteristics,and tries to explain the reasons and mechanism of their grammaticalization and explore their development rules.In addition,through the comparative study with the relevant structure,we try to reveal its unique meaning and usage.In the Ming and qing dynasties,"????"was grammaticalized into an adverbial solidified structure,which was further developed in the modern Chinese language.In this process,syntactic position changes,context absorption and restriction,and human cognitive factors play different roles.Focusing on the characteristics of the sentences,the grammatical formal marks are"singular subject or abstract subject","single or abstract behavior","singular object or abstract object","co-occurrence with‘express small'components".The combination of"????"was also an adverbial structure to express mood in the Ming and qing dynasties,and the change of syntactic position,human cognition,context absorption and restriction were the influencing factors to promote its grammaticalization.Based on the synchronic level of modern Chinese,the grammaticalization of"earlier or later"is manifested in that the subject associated with it in a sentence is a single subject or abstract subject,the function of adverbial is manifested,and the sentence expresses the future tense and so on.In modern Chinese,The combination of"????"was grammaticalized into an adverbial solidified structure.Similarly,the change of syntactic position,human cognition,context absorption and restriction are also the influencing factors to promote grammaticalization.When the"????"act as adverbial expressing in the sentence"no matter how,also is"semantic,usually associated with the subject is singular or abstract subject,associated with an object as a singular object,or abstract object,and the Non-action verb express abstract concept,in addition the semantic deviation occurs,usually it co-occurrence with‘express small'components.The above three case studies show that the"?A?B"combination shows great similarity in the process of language evolution,the rules and characteristics of the grammaticalization of this structure can be concluded,but also because of the composition of the different shows a little difference.After the meaning of"????"or"????"is solidified,the semantic meaning often tends to one of the poles,which is mainly inclined to"?"or"?",and is often given the color of"subjective small quantity",when expressing the speaker's subjective,affirmative tone or attitude,it has the color of concession.However,the semantic expression of"????"is limited by the temporal meaning,which expresses the speaker's positive speculation that a certain situation will happen in the future without emotional color.From the point of view of semantic expression,the three semantic tendencies are different.From the perspective of pragmatic functions,this indicates that the interpersonal functions of the three are different in expression.In addition,the changed"????"is often used in the future tense due to semantic influence,while"????"or"????"is not always the case.
