The humanistic documentary Crossing takes two post-90 s college students who have graduated from the university and participated in the civil service examination for many times as the shooting objects.using the form of real movies and the structure of cross-narrative.On the one hand,through the capture and recording of the learning and life clips of the two protagonists,the most authentic original life is presented.On the other hand,through the interview of the two characters,trying to analyze their spiritual world.To reflect the current post-90 s living status and mental state,explore the multiple entanglements between individuals and times,individuals and tradition.This film takes the civil servant examination as a clue,chooses two characters with different self-will and personality characteristics to record.By grasping the commonness and individuality of the characters,then shows the relationship between the characters and the times from the multi-dimension of the current situation of individual life,as well as the value choice and emotional attitude of the group in the current social environment.This film is based on the principle of objective reality,Without the emotional involvement of the director,the film creates characters with details and selects meaningful clips from daily life to express the theme.This film adopts the style of documentary image,and implies the status of characters through meaningful composition,so as to enhance the directivity of content by stitching different scenes of the picture.
