Since the beginning of the new century,Jia Pingwa's attention to the reality and history of urban and rural areas has become the main line of his literary creation.Therefore,this paper puts forward the topic of "historical narration in Jia Pingwa's novels",trying to find out the reasons for the formation of this writing style and its influence on the writer by combing all the works related to historical narration.The first chapter mainly discusses the historical narration of "Shangzhou series" in1980 s.The influence of the root-searching literature,national spirit for mining,writer in creative culture series "through a large number of local Chronicles,to introduce the local cultural customs,geographical environment,make the period of historical narrative of regional culture colour unusually strong.The second chapter focuses on the "bandit series" in the early 1990 s.Taking local bandits as the main description object,this series reveals the struggle and fission of human desire under the suppression of morality and ethics,subverts the writing style of traditional historical novels and embodies the characteristics of new historicism.The third chapter is the core of the whole thesis,focusing on Jia Pingwa's historical novels in the new century.The investigation focuses on the end of local narration represented by Qin opera.As an important node,Qin opera means the end of local narration.Through induction and summary,it is found that Jia Pingwa's view of history is "folk",and the depiction of human nature is the final foothold of the novel.Historical narration,as another creative form after the end of local narration,can be used for reference in examining the trend of the writer's laterwriting style.
