Taking the Middle East students from the Medical College of Xi'an Jiaotong University as the research object,this paper revises the Oxford Language Learning Strategies Scale,formulates a new Strategies Scale and conducts a questionnaire survey.With the help of SPSS23.0 and Excel 2007,the questionnaire data are analyzed and analyzed to understand the characteristics of Chinese learning strategies of the Middle East students,as well as the gender,age and learning of the Middle East students.The relationship between time and the use of Chinese learning strategies is as follows:(1)Compensation strategy and meta-recognition strategy are most frequently used by Middle East students in Chinese learning,followed by social strategy and emotional strategy.Cognitive strategy and memory strategy are the least frequently used Chinese learning strategies by Middle East students.(2)There are only significant differences in social strategies among students of different genders,but no significant differences in general strategies,memory strategies,cognitive strategies,compensation strategies,metacognitive strategies and affective strategies.(3)Middle Eastern students of different ages do not show differences in general strategies,cognitive strategies,metacognitive strategies and social strategies,but only in memory strategies,compensation strategies and affective strategies.(4)There are significant differences in overall strategy,memory strategy,metacognitive strategy and social strategy among Middle Eastern students with different learning time,but no significant differences in cognitive strategy,compensation strategy and affective strategy.In order to have a deeper understanding of the use of Chinese learning strategies of Middle East students,the author interviews five Middle East students from 44 respondents,and puts forward specific teaching suggestions aiming at the problems found in the questionnaires and interviews and the characteristics of learning strategies of Middle East students,hoping to be more targeted to Chinese learning and teachers of Middle East students.Language teaching provides some inspiration and help.
