The Narrative Function Of Simultaneous Sound In TV Documentary

From silent movies to sound movies,sound gives movies rich means of expression and promotes the development of film art.Documentary as a combination of audio-visual art,the emergence of sound also makes it get more extension.Truth is the soul of documentaries,which also determines the importance of simultaneous sound in many audio-visual elements.Throughout the development of China’s television documentaries,the role of simultaneous sound has been continuously strengthened,and the innovation of narrative concept has affected the application and development of simultaneous sound.This paper is divided into three parts to discuss the narrative function of simultaneous voice in TV documentaries.The first chapter introduces the sound language and development of documentaries.First,through an overview of the sound development of Western documentaries,we can understand the development history of documentaries,and explore the process of documentaries from silence to sound.Then we can provide background introduction for the sound research of documentaries.Second,starting from our country,we can study the sound application characteristics of several major stages of Chinese TV documentaries,and so on.This paper combines the development of Chinese documentary sound with the western background,so that readers can have a comprehensive understanding of the development process of Chinese documentary sound.The second chapter discusses the narrative function of the simultaneous sound in the TV documentary.By telling the relationship between the narrative mode change of the documentary story of China and the authenticity expression of the documentary,comparing the saying "Yangtze River","Wang Great Wall","I am in the Forbidden City,repairing cultural relics",etc.The key case,as well as the documentary similar to the subject of my graduation work,provides a more comprehensive and specific analysis of the simultaneous use of sound from the perspectives of narrative perspective,environmental atmosphere and plot suspense.Chapter three explores the new trend of simultaneous voice narration under the background of media convergence.It mainly combines the application of simultaneous voice in documentary with the new micro,fragmentation and internationalization narrative concepts,and highlights the importance of simultaneous voice in documentary narrative expression under the new era background.Finally,through the combing of the full text,it summarizes the application and development of simultaneous voice under the innovation of documentary narrative concept,and puts forward the prospect of how to better play simultaneous voice narrative in the future.
