In the Qing Dynasty,the government established the official system with distinct national characteristics.In the northeast,the High-grade bureaucracy has regional characteristics.The study on the characteristics and the development of career,based on the officials with high-grade,has reflected the political system in the local implementation process of regional and national characteristics.The essay has built the Database of High Grade Officials of the Qing Dynasty in Northeast China according to the Officials' material and the China Biographical Database Project(CBDB).The database covers all officials in the northeastern region with high grade and includespersonal basic information and resume information,which flays the foundation for the author's research on the service characteristics and career development of the officials.According to the position and place where the official had been serving,official career development in the highest position has reflected the height of its career development.We can find that the status of imperial examinations has an important influence on the selection of officials and the development of career.
