With the development of foreign language acquisition and cognitive theory,people pay more and more attention to language learning strategies.In the second foreign language learning process,the appropriate language learning strategy has a significant impact on students' language learning.From the 1970 s onwards,research has gradually deepened.Successful Language Learners are seen as positive information processors.Their language learning strategies are important research areas and have great significance for guiding learners to master and use language learning strategies.This paper conducts a study on the learning strategies of mother tongue in Cambodia,and hopes to discover the commonalities and success factors of their Chinese learning strategies.This paper selects 13 Cambodian learners with excellent Chinese proficiency as the research object to conduct a questionnaire survey to study the use of Chinese learning strategies,and selected 4 Cambodian successful Chinese learners to interview.Through interviews and questionnaires,combined with second language acquisition theory,according to the actual situation of their learning,explore and analyze the application of learning strategies in each link,analyze their commonalities in Chinese learning and their learning characteristics.The study found that the four successful Chinese learners in Cambodia are more common.They are good at using Chinese learning strategies,and can adjust and optimize their combinations in more practical situations;and have strong motivation for learning Chinese;have balanced development in all aspects of listening,speaking,reading and writing;in terms of specific strategies,social and social The emotional strategy is applied most frequently,and the memory strategy is applied at the lowest frequency.In the advanced stage,Cambodian Chinese learners have strong self-learning ability,strong management awareness,and more mature learning strategies.They always maintain a positive learning attitude in Chinese learning and avoid bad learning emotions.Frequent and rational use of language learning strategies,strong internal motivation,and good self-learning skills are key reasons fortheir success.The relevant conclusions drawn in this paper hope to be used as reference and reference for other learners and educators.Strengthen the training of Cambodian learners' social strategies,provide targeted guidance to Cambodian learners of different learning styles,and strengthen the self-learning awareness and self-learning ability of Cambodian learners.
