A Comparative Study Of Phonology Of Dialects In Southern Zhuji

Zhuji dialect is located at the junction of the north Wu dialect and the south Wu dialect.Its phonetics shows the transition from the north Wu dialect to the south Wu dialect.In the study of Zhuji dialect,according to the actual dialect situation and the feeling of the native,this paper selected five points in the south of Zhuji: Huangshan,Dongbaihu,Anhua,Chenzhai and Lingbei.Focusing on phonetics research,this paper makes a detailed comparison of the features of initial,final and tone at diachronic and synchronic levels,analyses the internal phonetic levels and regional differences of Zhuji dialect,and compares boundary dialect Chenzhai,Lingbei,Shaoxing,Suzhou,Dongyang and Jinhua dialects,and summarizes the phonological features of Chenzhai and Lingbei dialect.Overall,Chenzhai dialect has the features of the north Wu,but its Zeng ? and Geng ? groups have the colloquial layer of south Wu dialect.Lingbei dialect has the features of the south Wu,however,it is influenced by north Wu dialect,such as Guo ? group has the features of Shaoxing dialect and Dongyang dialect at the same time.In this paper,the materials of five points in Zhuji southern region are from the author's investigation,and the materials of other dialects are from the previous dialect research results.This paper can be divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It summarizes the geographical history,population status,geography and dialect of Zhuji,reviews the history and current situation of Zhuji dialect research,and introduces the research purpose,significance,research methods and steps of this research.Chapter 2 introduces the phonological system and phonological characteristics of Zhuji Huangshan dialect and encloses the syllabary of Huangshan dialect.The third chapter introduces the phonology of four other towns in the south of Zhuji.Chapter 4 compares the internal differences of five towns dialects in southern Zhuji,mainly from three aspects: initial,final and tone.In Chapter 5,we define the nature of boundary dialects in southern Zhuji.Through the phonological comparative analysis of Shaoxing dialect and Dongyang dialect,this paper explores the division of Chenzhai dialect and Lingbei dialect,and compares them with the typical dialects of Taihu Lake dialect and Wuzhou dialect(Suzhou dialect and Jinhua dialect)to determine the dialectal attributes of the two areas.It mainly discusses the division of boundary dialects by sharing the number of typical features of initial,final and tone of these two dialects.The sixth chapter is conclusion.
