Study On The Image And Interest Of Contemporary Meticulous Figure Painting

Meticulous figure painting is a unique artistic form of expression in traditional Chinese painting.From the early Warring States period to the Tang and Song Dynasties,with the emergence of a large number of classical works marked by "step-by-step painting","hairpin flower painting of ladies","Han Xizai dinner party painting" and so on,the painting method and style of Chinese meticulous figure painting basically formed.After the Yuan and Ming Dynasties,painting style begins to change to Ink and Wash.with Zhao Mengfu,Qian Xuan and Chen Laolian as representatives in meticulous figure painting,but basically in terms of personal style,their artistic forms and contents did not change much.Only in modern times,especially in contemporary times,with the influx of Western cultural thoughts and the introduction of western modern art in large quantities,did the creation of meticulous figure painting change from a more solid traditional form to a pluralistic one,thus bringing a new atmosphere to the traditional meticulous figure painting with a deep foundation.By analyzing the many expressive characteristics of Contemporary Meticulous figure painting,we can find that there are many factors promoting the development and transformation of Contemporary Meticulous figure painting.The diversification of Contemporary Meticulous Brushwork is not only due to the factors of modelling and techniques,but also due to the change of aesthetic image and taste,which can not be ignored in the creation of Contemporary Meticulous Brushwork Figure painting.The traditional aesthetic concept of "image" is mainly dominated by ancient Chinese philosophy,which influences Chinese logical thinking and artistic creation.As far as artistic creation is concerned,image is a creative thinking,while interest is an aesthetic attitude and aesthetic consciousness.How can we use the subject's "interest" to create meaningful "image" in meticulous figure painting?In the author's opinion,it must be based on the analysis of specific works.This paper holds that Contemporary Meticulous Brushwork can be divided into two main categories: one is realistic Meticulous Brushwork that draws lessons from western painting language on the basis of tradition,the other is image Meticulous Brushwork that integrates expressionism with freehand brushwork concept.Combining the two styles,image Meticulous Brushwork is more appropriate to the aesthetic concept of "expressing spirit by form" in Chinese painting.In this process,the traditional concept of meticulous figure paintinghas also developed.Creators absorb the image concept of "godlike" from traditional paintings and use appropriate exaggeration and deformation techniques to shape the image of the characters,which can not only create a modeling language with personal emotional color,but also add a strong interest to the picture.This kind of image view and interest has always been favored by the creators because they are consistent with the traditional Chinese painting concept.This paper takes Contemporary Meticulous figure painting as the research object,combs the works and works of traditional and contemporary painters,and differentiates their image expression and interest tendency.The article is divided into four chapters.In the introduction of the first chapter,it summarizes the reasons for choosing this topic,the significance of the research and the current research situation at home and abroad on this topic.The second chapter summarizes and combs the theory of image and the inheritance and change of image concept in the contemporary era.Chapter three will start with the traditional classic meticulous brushwork,analyze its interest with Western and Chinese aesthetic concepts,and analyze the interesting expression in contemporary image Meticulous Brushwork with specific artists.
