Research On Construction Of Cultural Soft Power Of Socialism With Chinese Characteristics In The New Era

Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,showing that the Chinese nation,which since modern times began had endured so much for so long,has achieved a tremendous transformation---it has stoop up,grown rich,and become strong.The glorious prospect of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is expected to be realized.However,the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation cannot be separated from the prosperity of culture.As the blood and soul of a nation,culture is the embodiment of national cohesion and creativity and the spiritual homeland of Chinese people.Only driven by advanced culture can China transform from cultural nation to culture power striding forward modernization to stand firm among nations.The enhancement of Cultural soft power of socialism with Chinese Characteristics has two-sided effects,internally,the real demand of the high-speed development of economy and society,and externally,the key point of interstate competition built on economic globalization.In today's world,transformation,from hard power such as politics,economy,military and science to soft power,has emerged in competition among nations.Cultural soft power now plays an increasingly essential role in the synthetic power competition among nations,becoming the contest of national wisdom,gradually.At present,China must face the weak cultural soft power,deeply exploring construction and development of it with the perspective of home and abroad,the premise of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and the strategic height of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.With the key point of historical inevitability of the construction of China's cultural soft power in the new era,this thesis elaborates that the construction is the necessary to enhance comprehensive national strength,realize national rejuvenation,meet the people's spiritual culture and safeguard national security.Therefore,the profound meaning of several concepts,including “culture”,“soft power” and “cultural soft power”,is scientifically interpreted,and the four essential characteristics of cultural soft power,namely invisibility,permeability,inheritance and versatility,as well as the four manifestations of cultural integration,cultural cohesion,cultural radiation and cultural innovation,are summarized and condensed.And then,this thesis focuses on the three main problems which includes the uncoordinated development of cultural soft power and economic strength,the infiltration of western cultural hegemonism,and the crisis of cultural identity,existing in the construction of China's cultural soft power in the new era,and make the profound analysis of the reasons for these problems,namely,slow cultural productivity,weak cultural self-confidence and its insufficient transmissibility,and lacked influence and guiding force of social core values.Finally,in the view of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,based on the cultural soft power and reasons hindering the development,the thesis expatiates the path suitable for the construction of China's cultural soft power from four angles,that is,to enhance cultural cohesion with strengthening the construction of socialist core value system,to improve cultural competitiveness with promoting the prosperity of cultural industry and undertakings,to enhance cultural self-confidence with carrying forward traditional culture,and to enhance the cultural communication power with creating a discourse system with Chinese characteristics.
