The Writing Research About Ding Ling's Biography

Ding Ling is a rare talented female writer with distinctive characters in China's modern literature history.In her ups and downs of life,Ding Ling created numerous outstanding works,such as Sophie's Diary,In Hospital,Water,The sun shines on the SangGan River and so on,which are splendid treasures of modern Chinese literature.With her literary talent and legendary experience,Ding Ling has been widely concerned by the literary and art circles.Up to now,there have been more than 60 biographies of Ding Ling,which still has a trend of continuous rise.Due to the changes of different times and the political,economic and cultural environments,Ding Ling's biographies have shown different characteristics and tendencies in the corresponding context of times.The author intends to take Ding Ling's biography published in 1930 s as examples,using the method of comparative analysis and historical research,to make an overall interpretation of Ding ling's biography from the aspects of ideological content and artistic form so as to grasp the development context and evolution momentum in each period.When analyzing the ideological content of Ding Ling's biography in different periods,the author mainly focuses on images of Ding Ling which is an important ele ment of in the creation of biography.This paper will be divided into four parts:The first chapter mainly searches Ding Ling's biography writing features in 1930 s.During this period,Ding Ling was accidentally kidnapped and in a long confinement,then escaped to the northwest of China,becoming the "female warrior" of China.Influenced by the era context,the relevant biographies of Ding Ling was popular gradually.Ding Ling's biography in 1930 s is lack of distinct personality,which is more like the genre of news,obviously eulogizing the theme of the Chinese heroes.However,Shen Congwen's Biography of Ding Ling stands out with its unique artistic charm.Therefore,in the third chapter,the author mainly discusses “the Era of Personality” of 1930 s in the source text.The second chapter discusses the writing characteristics of Ding Ling's biography in the 1980 s.In the 1980 s,Ding Ling went back to the literary world with miserable experiences,whose works reflect the trend of history.People began to reshape the image of Ding Ling with the influences of history,although the "reform and opening up" sprang up,the political enviro nment was still severe.With the influences of ideological discourse,Ding Ling attached great attention again as the image of "proletarian revolutionary heroine" and the biographies focused more on thoughts and ignored the era of art.However,in the 1980 s,Ding Ling's biography began to explore diversities of art,which manifested that the author began to consider deeply into the heart and explore diverse forms.At the same time,Ding Ling's autobiographical memoir The World of Demons and the The Snow World became the most valuable exploration at that time with its sincere emotions,prose culture language and ingenious use of novel creation skills.The third chapter depicts the personalized writing style of Ding Ling's biography in the 1990 s,during this period,on the one hand,biographer's writing perspective was changed,who paid more attention to the value of the individual,shaping the image of "ordinary people",on the other hand,with the further development of society,the highlights of literariness and the opening privacy become the most significant stylistic feature in that period.The fourth chapter discusses the diversified creation of Ding Ling's biography since the new century.In terms of the content,the author mainly expounds the shaping of Ding Ling's "civilian" image in her biography.In the aspect of form,the author mainly comments on the lively elements of Ding Ling's biography,such as speculation,materials,interaction between text and picture,consumer inflation and so on.
