Yuewei Caotang Notes is a famous novel written by Ji Yun,a scholar of Qing Dynasty in his later years. In the novel, not only a large number of other poems were quoted, but also a certain number of Ji Yun's self-written poems, which are an organic part of Yuewei Caotang Notes. From the perspective of poetry into fiction, this paper systematically combs and comprehensively investigates the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes. At the same time, based on the complex academic and cultural background of Qianlong period and combined with Ji Yun's life experience, this paper makes a typical interpretation of the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes, aiming at analyzing the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes and other classical Chinese novels. In order to explore Ji Yun's profound implication hidden behind his poems,we try to expand the academic research on Yuewei Caotang Notes. In addition to the introduction, the full text is mainly divided into five parts, the specific contents are as follows:In the introduction part, the author mainly combs the research of the past dynasties of "Poetry into Strange Stories" and "Poetry in Yuewei Caotang Notes",and expounds the research value of the poetry in Yuewei Caotang Notes from the perspectiveof historical development. The first chapter aims to analyze the background of the poem entering the Notes of Yuewei Caotang.Through the analysis of the official policies and folk customs of Qianlong Dynasty, the academic purport of Ji's family and Ji's communication,it fully reflects Ji's role in this "poetry storm" and its influence on the creative style of Yuewei Caotang Notes.Chapter three focuses on the value of the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes.Connecting with the social, literary and artistic thoughts of Qianlong Dynasty, through sorting out the poems and comments of Ji Yun from his relatives and friends,we can analyze Ji Yun's "eclectic thought".Under the background of the fierce collision of ideas,Ji Yun often reconciles the two opposing views and expresses his own views through reinterpretation of the concepts. The fifth chapter intends to put the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes into the long history of the development of Chinese literary fiction to examine its historical status and contribution.Compared with the classical Chinese novels of the same era,the similarities and differences in the number, style and language style of the poems clearly reflect the important contribution of the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes to theformation of "broad-minded" and "simple and subtle" language style, which is an important factor for Yuewei Caotang Notes to be unique.By comparing with Zhiguai novels of the Six Dynasties, this paper analyses the similarities and differences of the functions of poetry in novels, and the inheritance and innovation of Ji Yun's novel creation to traditional Zhiguai novels. At the same time, through this analysis,it establishes the important position of the poems in Yuewei Caotang Notes in the development history of "poetry into fiction".
