In many film classifications,poetic films have their own unique colors.From the birth of the film to the present,the shadow of poetic movies has crossed the entire 20 th century and continues to this day.Many genre directors are still exploring "poetry" and " The multi-faceted integration of the film.In the documentary,there is also a unique type of color----a poetic documentary.What we know,whether it is a poetic movie or a poetic documentary,has a common feature: the emphasis on the weakening of narrative emphasizes the emotion and rhythm of the film,then the characteristic of the poetic documentary is the weakening of the documentary story.Through the use of various audiovisual technologies,the documentary and the "poetry" are infinitely integrated.This poetic documentary has produced such a unique genre as the "City Symphony".In this documentary filmed by the genre directors,we can strongly feel that the documentary can also be full of beauty and poetry.However,in my learning process,there was reflection.Is there a limitation in the current poetic movie? For more documentary types,how can we learn to make it full of the basic features of the documentary while being full of beauty and poetry? Is the poeticization of documentaries a must to abandon stories and narratives?So with this kind of problem,I started to explore and filmed the documentary "Dance of the Dead",in which I have two major questions: the objective and true documentary poetic language exploration,the objective and true documentary poetic story and character selection.Exploring and experimenting,I hope to maintain both the thought-provoking narrative story and the audience's demand for the beauty of the film in the objective and true documentary of the social documentary.Output your own thoughts and practical products for the development of objective and true documentaries,breaking the stereotypes of objective and true documentaries that existed in our minds.In my film,I took the topic of "death" and talked about the three forms of funeral,sea burial,and funeral.At the same time,my protagonist's life is full of twists and regrets and finally many thoughts on life.In the conflict,combined with the poetic approach of exploration,expressing the concept of death of modern people,and thinking about life and death,I hope to show a calm and positive attitude to advocate that everyone face this unavoidable thing.
