Since Tracy put forward the concept of ideology, the word has been continuously developed and enriched.Today, ideology is still concerned and contentious. In the process of development,Marx played a cornerstone role.He endowed the real critical connotation of ideology, combining it with the actual social foundation that produced ideology and starting the comprehensive criticism to capitalist society and its dominance thoughts. In the study of Marxist ideology, different theoretical perspectives bring out much understanding. The general idea of this thesis is that by understanding the essence of Lacan's Symbolic and examining the connotation of Marxist ideology,we can understand the reason why ruling class describes the class interests as the intrinsic principle of universal interest.Marxist ideology reveals how the subject(as an unconscious subject)will recognize ideology,so as to deeply analyze the research value of the theory of symbolism on the critical connotation of Marx's ideology. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter generally introduces the background, the significance, the aims and main methods, showing a creative perspective of the research. In order to reveal the subjective nature of the unconsciousness, the second chapter firstly discusses the theoretical context of Lacan's Symbolic which contains two aspects: the theoretical resources of Symbolic and the essence of Lacan's Symbolic. The third chapter mainly investigates the connection between Lacan's concept of “the Other” and the pseudo-popularization of human beings in the critical angle of ideology. This part points out that the subject regards the consciousness of the whole society which is not one's own as self-consciousness.The reason for this phenomenon can be explained in terms of “the Other”.This part firstly defines the subject of ideology and “the Other”,pointing out the indivisible relationship between subjectivity and ideology, and secondly using Marx's logical method of ideological criticism to start the study about “the Other” of ideology, from which we can find out the forming nature mechanism of the pseudo-popularization critically.Lastly,we point out people's nature of Marxist ideology through confronting the connotation of the pseudo-popularization of ideology and the ideology of Marxism. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the relationship between the concept of Lacan's signifier and the effectiveness of ideology.Through the connotation of signification,we can understand the profound connotation of unconscious identification of ideology by the subjects at the economic, political and cultural levels. On the one hand, the role of unconscious identification is revealed in the dynamic role of consciousness. That is to say, although ideology does not exist,it plays a role as the subjective imagination of the subject and can separate from the meaning of the ideology as the language symbol and act connotation of the meaning of the gap,on the other hand the role of unconscious identification is also reflected in the state machine in the characteristics of building a community. The fifth chapter is the social value of Lacan's symbolism theory to Marx's ideology criticism.First,we must realize that “the unreal community” is the necessary stage for the survival and development of mankind.Second,we must understand that the instilling theory shows the reason why man individually can survive in society.Third,we must pay more attention to the leading role of social media on ideology.Fourth,we must take a reasonable view of one's misunderstanding of ideology. The whole article attempts to obtain a new understanding of ideological criticism from Lacan's symbolism theory, which can play an active role in the ideological construction of our country.
