The Renaissance classicism and Baroque style are the two peaks in the development of Western art history.They are adjacent in time dimension,but they show great differences in style.The two styles of the picture are moving in two different directions.The art behind Baroque is mostly a representation of the different ways of space,so this step of the Baroque style is crucial.In "Art Stylistics",Wolflin made a scientific classification of the Renaissance style and Baroque style,and clearly explained the characteristics of the two styles one by one,providing a theoretical basis for the study of this article.However,because the two styles are too strange,after reading,there is often a feeling that the painters of the Baroque period seem to have received the revelation of God.The style of the picture has completely changed,but this is not the case.In some of the works of the late Renaissance,there has been a tendency to directly depict space,and they are explorers of space expression.This is a part of the "Art Stylistics" that is not discussed in detail,and it is also a time node that the author thinks is very important to study,and it is also a part of this article.This paper is intended to fill the gaps in research during this period.The main research content of the thesis includes the following four parts:introductionThis chapter mainly explains the research questions,the research significance,the research status at home and abroad,the research purpose and the research content of this paper.The first chapter,the picture clues of the image transformation in the middle and late RenaissanceThis chapter mainly describes three clues that the author found in the study of a large number of works in the middle and late Renaissance,which is helpful for the study of image transformation,including: a.The environment in the picture is changed from outdoor to indoor,environmental brightness From bright to dark b.The direction of the light changes from diffuse reflection to single direction illumination,and the direction of the light source becomes recognizable c.A clear projection appears on the wall behind the subject,and the projection begins to fuse with the subject.Combine these three clues with a typical picture as detailed as possible.The second chapter is about the motivation of the transformation of image style in the middle and late period of Renaissance This chapter mainly discusses the real motives of artists in a series of changes.In the late period,the artists in the late stage will introduce clear directional light into the picture,and they began to have an interest in the expression of “light”,which in turn led to the meticulous portrayal of the center of the image.Slowly turned to the expression of the surrounding space.So the pattern of image evolution in the middle and late Renaissance is: from volume to space.Chapter III Conclusions and Prospects This chapter summarizes the conclusions of the full text and looks forward to the art research work as a beginning.
