On the occasion of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the ancient landscapes of Chinese landscape paintings prevailed, and the artistic style of the landscape painter Shi Tao was right in this trend. His "Bitter Melon Monk Quotations" has many incisive interpretations, full of dialectical thinking, and has profound guiding significance for contemporary landscape painting creation.Shi Tao’s painting thoughts not only have a deep philosophical origin, but also support the innovative techniques of art practice.Regarding the method of breaking ink in Shi Tao’s landscape paintings, the Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics in the Qing Dynasty and the modern Huang Binhong,Pan Tianshou,Li Keran and others have many related explanations in their painting quotations.Based on the predecessors’ arguments, this paper takes the ink-breaking method in Shi Tao’s landscape painting as the starting point and deeply analyzes the source of the ink-breaking method.Combined with the analysis and research of Shi Tao’s landscape paintings and related theories, this paper analyzes the specific application of Shi Tao’s ink-breaking method and the role in the artistic conception of the picture, and combines the Gao Juhan style analysis method to analyze the stage characteristics of Shi Tao’s landscape painting.Comparing Shi Tao’s landscape paintings with the five generations and the Song and Yuan landscape paintings in the vertical direction, comparing with the "four kings" and "three gongs" in the horizontal direction, the innovation of Shi Tao’s landscape paintings is obtained, and my landscape paintings are guided. |
