With China's "New Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "One Belt,One Road" initiative,the cooperation between China and Central Asia has deepened and brought more development opportunities.Chinese companies have increased their direct investment in Central Asian countries.Among them,Kazakhstan is the largest among the five Central Asian countries and an important partner in China's “Belt and Road” initiative.Chinese companies have increased their investment in Kazakhstan.Changsheng Machinery Co.,Ltd.is a demonized machinery manufacturing company mainly engaged in the operation of dryers,mixers,pulverizers,etc.in Jiangyin,Jiangsu,China.The company's mechanical products mainly face domestic and foreign markets,and are sold in foreign markets,of which the Central Asian market is The company focuses on developing markets.With the implementation of the “One Belt,One Road” initiative in China,in recent years,the development of Kazakhstan has been strengthened,and many cooperation projects have been launched in Kazakhstan.The cooperation project that the author participated in this time is the cooperation between Changsheng Machinery Co.and Kazakhstan CHEM.There are some cross-cultural communication issues in the implementation of this cooperation project.This article first introduces the general situation of Changsheng Machinery Co.,Ltd.and CHEM Company and the overview of the cooperation project.Then,combined with the questionnaire survey and interviews,it analyzes the management status of the cross-cultural communication of the cooperation project of Changsheng Machinery Co.,Ltd.After that,the intercultural communication problem between Changsheng Machinery Co.and CHEM was analyzed and the reasons were analyzed.During the cross-cultural communication problem between Changsheng Machinery Co.and CHEM,there were many difficulties in cross-cultural communication caused by cultural conflicts or cultural differences.These problems are mainly manifested in conflicts of values,poor language communication,differences in living habits,different religious beliefs,alienation of interpersonal relationships,and instability of legal policies.There are several reasons for these cross-cultural communication problems: there are major cultural differences between China and Kazakhstan,and there are differences in the corporate systems between China and Kazakhstan.There are differences in labor and personnel policies between China and Kazakhstan.Differences in corporate thinking.Finally,it puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the communication management between Changsheng Machinery Co.and CHEM in Kazakhstan.The principles of cross-cultural communication include the four principles of seeking common ground while reserving differences,mutual respect,harmonious coexistence and cultural integration,and proposes cultural integration strategies,including strengthening.Intercultural communication,cross-cultural training and a common corporate culture.Finally,the localization strategies are: localization of talents(localization of talents in different positions,cultivation of localized talents);management localization(improving remuneration packages,creating a harmonious working atmosphere)and fulfilling local social responsibilities(trying to hire local employees as much as possible)Promote the employment of local people,ensure green environmental protection during production and management,and actively participate in local public welfare undertakings).
