| Shanghai Cooperation Youth Campus is a brand project initiated by President Xi Jinping,and has been included in the “China’s work plan for the SCO’s rotating presidency in 2017-2018”.In July 2015,President Xi announced at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)Ufa Summit that,in order to strengthen youth exchanges,China will hold SCO Youth Campus in China for five consecutive years on the basis of the SCO Youth Leaders’ Visiting Program.The SCO member states and observer countries account for almost half of the global population.As the SCO continues to expand and its international influence continues to rise,it has become an important force for promoting world peace and development,and safeguarding international fairness and justice.Therefore,the SCO Youth Campus has attracted more and more attention in the world.The third SCO Youth Campus with the theme of “New SCO,New Partner” was launched in Qingdao on July 16,2018.More than 200 youth representatives from 12 SCO member countries and observer countries participated in the exchange activities in Qingdao and Beijing.The author participated in the Campus as a volunteer,and used the speeches of the opening ceremony and forum to carry out simulation sight interpretation practice.This simulation practice report includes task introduction,practice process,case analysis and practice summary.Through this practice,the author finds out the existing problems in the process of interpretation,obtains corresponding solutions,and summarizes relevant experience,which points out the specific direction for future interpretation practice.The author finds that schema theory plays a guiding role in the interpretation process,which can reduce the anxiety of interpreters,shorten the vocabulary extraction time,and improve language quality.The author hopes that the questions discussed in this report will be of some help to learners of interpretation. |
