With the development of globalization, intercultural activities are playing an increasingly crucial role.In this process, people are paying more attention to these activities, with more and more related studies developed. With regard to intercultural language teaching and learning,it has also been a vital part of social development.Meanwhile, accompanied with deepening cultural exchanges,it develops all along, and helps people with different backgrounds to have mutual understanding,to communicate, exchange and complement each other. Therefore, those related studies have provided us with new perspectives to experience the renewal and development of intercultural language teaching and learning between different cultures. This report, with Intercultural Language Teaching And Learning as its material,is based on the translation and reflection of the book,to show its intercultural phenomena and approaches.During the translation practice, under the guidance of Skopos Theory, new confusions and considerations come along. From the choices of different translation methods and skills, the report has analyzed the use of Skopos Theory in different cases, especially its application in the translation of words, sentences and discourses. In different contexts, with specific purposes, adjustments of translation methods occur,in order to correct different situations in the translation. In this process, translation theories are necessary,as well as the in-depth study of those theories.Meanwhile, under the guidance of the translation theory, approaches are chosen accordingly, which require thinking and judgments based on words, sentences, and discourses.During this process, new knowledge has been acquired. This reflectsnot only new understandings of the translation process, but also new thinking on Skopos Theory. It also provides new ideas for my further study of translation.
