The game has a long history and rich connotation.Game is a biased phrase,the centrallanguage for the”Xi”,the original meaning for the ancient sacrifice or meal,there is a head with a tiger mask to dance,and then extended to entertainment related behavior.You: the righteousness is the social intercourse,if the interest pays,to refuse to You.From the beginning of human civilization,scholars have had profound research on the nature of games.Plato and Aristotle have discussed the nature and specific meaning of games in their works.The eastern philosophy represented by Confucius and Zhuangzi expounded the meaning of games from the perspective of “You”.From this point of view,in the axis period of human civilization,the wise men of the west and the east all happened to notice the importance of game in daily life and even in the future development of human beings.They realized that beauty is the source of game while looking into the inner meaning of game.The variety of games is huge,this article focuses on a branch of games: video games.Video games are widely recognized as the ninth art after eight art forms,including painting,carving,architecture,music,poetry(literature),dance,drama and film,and they are one of the most popular forms of recreation.The game aesthetics in the title refers to the study of the design elements of electronic games on the level of the law of beauty on the aesthetic level.Hegel said that beauty is the philosophy of art and game is a kind of art.Therefore,the knowledge and understanding of beauty involved in artistic creation as well as the aesthetic experience summarized can be applied to the game role design.The earliest video games were widely available to the Chinese public in the early1980 s.In the early 1990 s,the little overlord learning machine(FC/ red and white machine)began to enter people's vision and became popularity.Computer games only gradually appeared in people's eyes in the mid 1990 s.Researchers now generally believe that 1994 was the beginning of the Chinese game industry,and the well-known legend of fairy sword appeared in 1995 and promoted the popularity of computer games.From the beginning of PC games,online games,page games and mobile games,from the mid-1990 s to today,China's game industry has been developing rapidly.From January to June 2018,the actual sales revenue of China's game market reached 1050.0 billion yuan,up 5.2 percent year-on-year.However,it is worrying that the growth rate is at a new low compared with the same period inthe past few years.The number of domestic game users is 530 million,up by 4.0% year on year.This means that the demographic dividend from the growth in the number of players has been exhausted,and the revenue direction of the game industry is likely to change from incremental to deep cultivation.Compared with the successful game companies in foreign countries,making high-quality games to win the market,many domestic game companies do not need to spend a lot of costs on research and development,as long as they can easily conquer game players with less experience through simple skin changing and novel marketing methods.But such a situation is based on the premise that "player growth is faster than player growth".As a series of foreign games such as "Player unknown battle ground" enter the domestic game market,Chinese game users are growing at an unprecedented rate with the help of games from mature companies such as Tencent and Netease.In such a background trend,it is particularly important to improve the quality of the game so that players can have emotional resonance while interacting with the game.As a new art form,it is justifiable for games to draw on the classic images of traditional art and derive new artistic images.This article from the aspects of game characters,and compare the domestic and foreign 3A game in his role and reference derivative relationship between classical artistic image,analysis of the domestic game on the characters of deficiency,a summary out high quality game characters shaping method and main point,hope for the domestic game character design theory to make a small contribution.
