| Social responsibility is the individual in the social activities of their social responsibility consciousness and the positive performance of the behavior tendency,the level of social responsibility reflects the level of a country and the progress of the society and civilization,it is the important index of measuring social civilization,so the social responsibility to promote social development and progress has important significance.After middle school students enter adolescence,their awareness of self-concern gradually increases and they begin to think about their social responsibilities and significance in social activities.Obviously,junior high school has also become an important period for the cultivation and education of social responsibility of young students.Based on the concept of ecosystem,the environmental factors that affect the physical and mental development of teenagers include not only family but also school.With the increasing age of individuals,the influence of the school on them becomes more and more prominent.In fact,school influence includes both educational content and educational methods.However,there are few studies on the relationship between teacher education styles,such as leadership style and social responsibility.Therefore,based on the ecological system view and social cognition theory,this study explores the relationship between teacher leadershipstyle and adolescent social responsibility,as well as the mediating role of self-determination motivation.This study investigated the relationship between the teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students and their social responsibility,and the mediating effect of self-determination motivation in 1185 students from two middle schools in changsha and hengyang,hunan province.The following results are obtained:(1)The social responsibility score of junior high school students has a major effect on grade and gender,and the social responsibility score decreases as grade increases;Girls scored higher than boys.(2)The grade effect of the teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students was significant.The gender difference was not significant.(3)The teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students is positively correlated with their sense of social responsibility and has a positive predictive effect.(4)Junior high school students’ self-determination motivation was related to the teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students and their sense of social responsibility.(5)The controlled motivation and the independent motivation of self-determination have some mediating effects between the teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students and junior high school students’ sense of social responsibility,among which the mediating effects of the controlled motivation are negative and the mediating effects of the independent motivation are positive.Conclusions of this study:There were grade differences in junior high school students’ sense of social responsibility and the teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students.The junior high school students’ self-motivation plays an intermediary role between the teachers’ transformational leadership style perceived by junior middle school students and their sense of social responsibility. |
