Guan Liang is an innovative artistic master in the 20 th century Chinese painting world.His original art of drama figure painting has a strong opera meaning or short name: "operatic taste",which is particularly noticeable in the modern Chinese character painting world.He not only looked for resources from Chinese traditional culture,but also absorbed the artistic forms and concepts of western modern painting,merged it perfectly,and created the painting style of Chinese modern opera ink-painting characters.The uniqueness and timeliness of its pictures are worthy of in-depth study from different perspectives.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the concept of "drama",and probes into the origin of "drama" in Guan Liang's opera from three aspects: the concept of form,reality and form.The second chapter summarizes the causes of Guan Liang opera figure painting.The third chapter analyzes Guan Liang's works "Wu Song","Monkey Opera" and "three Kingdoms",and explores how Guan Liang displays "drama" through the picture.The fourth chapter illustrates the enlightenment and influence of this research on the author's creation,and solves some difficult problems in the creation.This innovative artistic thought will have a positive impact on the author's creation in the future.
