Research On The Present Situation And Protection And Utilization Of The Great Sites In Shanxi Province

At present,with the rapid development of China’s social economy and culture,the protection of cultural heritage is highly valued by the state and the government.As the main body of China’s historical and cultural heritage,the historical,social,scientific,artistic and cultural value of the great sites not only gets the high attention of the government and the academic circles,but also causes the strong demand of the society to treat the traditional culture and historical memory.So the protection and display of cultural relics has become the focus and key point of China’s cultural relics protection work.Shanxi,as a large province of cultural relics,has a large number of great sites,but its protection status is worrying.Some great sites of Shanxi are facing the destruction of urban modernization,others are abandoned in the wilderness and forgotten.Although the corresponding mechanism has been established for the protection and utilization of great sites in Shanxi,most of them are limited to the protection of great sites itselfs,which can not meet the requirements of the development of urban modernization and the demands of the society for traditional culture and historical memory.Therefore,it is very necessary to build a great sites’ protection and utilization mode with advanced concept,scientific rationality and operability.First of all,this paper gives a comprehensive overview of the great sites in Shanxi Province.This paper introduces the status of Shanxi’s sites from the aspects of natural environment,history and culture.On this basis,it makes a statistical analysis of the ancient sites and tombs listed in the national and provincial protection units of Shanxi Province.On this basis,according to the national plan for the protection of great sites to define the scale of large sites,14 ancient sites and tombs that meet the scale of great sites were selected,and their scale and regional distribution were statistically analyzed.Secondly,from the six aspects of preservation,protection,environment,display and utilization,management and research,this paper makes acomprehensive and systematic assessment of the current situation of Shanxi great sites,and through questionnaire survey statistics of the public’s cognition of Shanxi great sites,it is found that although the public know a little about Shanxi great sites,they are very optimistic about its development prospects.At the same time,from the three aspects of nature,man-made and society,this paper analyzes and summarizes the reasons for the current development of the great sites in Shanxi Province.Finally,based on the existing protection and utilization methods of great sites at home and abroad,taking the Qucun Tianma site as an example,we summed up the "Qu Cun Tianma mode" with the characteristics of Shanxi’s great sites protection and utilization,that is,the great sites as the main body,and build an Archaeological Park with the integration of visiting,showing,learning and leisure.
