A Register-based Discourse Analysis Of Online Game Strategy

As a part of the network language,online game language is widely used by online game players,and some words have entered our daily life.Furthermore,it is becoming an emerging language favored by young people."Game strategy" is a written language in the game language.It is a guide to help game player complete game operations through graphic monologues.It has the characteristics of network language and the text structure of strategy.Based on Halliday's " Register Theory",this paper studies the online game strategy from three aspects:field,mode and tenor.Through the data statistics of game strategy corpus,it mainly analyzes the code,the moves and steps of online game strategy.According to the specific of linguistic facts in the corpus,it explains its intermal generating mechanism from the surface to the inside.Reveal the relationship between the code form and the ideographic features,the relationship between step type,the structure and function of the text.To combine the form and the meaning,pay equal attention to the structure and function,has both descriptive and explanatory features,in order to catch the characteristics and the pragmatic value of the language of game strategy.The full text is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.The main content of this part is to summarize the research object,research purpose and significance,research status,theoretical methods and sources of corpus.The second part analyzes the language field of the game strategy from two aspects:the online game background,game environment and the game strategy genre structure.The style of the genre structure is described in detail.The third part mainly focuses on the morphological form and meaning of vocabulary,pays attention to the linguistic and ideographic features of the game strategy language,analyzes the code-switching of game terms and the relationship between graphics and texts in the game,and explores the intermal generation mechanism and ideographic features of game terms.The fourth part is the analysis of the language of the game strategy language,focuses on the social relationship between the author and the game player,explores the ways in which communicators complete their communication through discourse and the relationship between communicators.The fifth part is the function analysis and usage specification of the game strategy language.The three meta-functions of "Register theory",and the cultural functions of register are used to analyze the function of game strategy.Classify and explain the irregularities use of the online game language,principles and methods of language norms are put forward for the healthy development of online game language.The final conclusion summarizes the full text,and hopes that the academic community will pay full attention to the special domain language such as the game strategy language.
