Seeking The Recognition Of Ceramic Art Points,Lines And Faces

This paper discusses the application of contemporary ceramic art from materials and modeling to decorative language.The dialogue between handcraft,design,mud and glaze is the unique charm of ceramic art that is different from other art forms.Due to the study of graphic design during the undergraduate period and the three-year graduated pottery learning practice,I found that although the two disciplines have the fundamental points of plane and three-dimensional,the similarity of the composition seems to make me still trace the process of ceramic art learning.It can be followed,and the rules of many points,lines and surfaces can make pottery more effective in controlling the shape and decoration.The use of formal aesthetics can make the design more interesting and interesting,and make the decorative techniques more diverse.From the shape control to the texture decoration from the glazing method to the firing type,the composition of the point line surface can always be used as a guiding idea and combined in the design of contemporary ceramic art.
