Philosophical Study On Wang Yangming's "Thought"

The study of Yang-ming school has become a hot spot in the academic circle,which has injected fresh vitality into the ideological circle.The academic circle has carried out all-round research on Yangming studies,among which,the in-depth elucidation of some important concepts such as "conscience" and "sincerity" is an important link in the research."Thought" is also an important concept in Wang Yangming's philosophy.He often used "Thought" to talk about some of his philosophical thoughts.Therefore,his thinking can be interpreted in a certain way from the dimension of "Thought".However,due to the complex relationship between "Thought" and "Intention",and the prominent position of "sincerity" in "The Great Learning",the academic circle pays more attention to the study of "Intention",thus ignoring "Thought".There is both consistencies and differences between Thought and Intention.Only by studying consistencies and differences can we better grasp the spirit of Wang Yangming's philosophy.In the fundamental sense,Wang Yangming believes that "Thought" is ceaseless,which is not only the result of his life recognition,but also closely related to his ontological thinking.The ontological meaning of "Thought" is mainly manifested as the Thought of Life and the Ontological Thought,and the clear distinction between the Thought of Life and the Ontological Thought can avoid the pan-moralistic interpretation of Wang Yangming's philosophy.The phenomenal meaning of "Thought" can be understood from Thought of Conscience,Thought of Germination,Thought of Motivation,Miscellaneous Thought,Good Thought and Evil Thought.Moral effort is a process of eliminating evil thought constantly.Wang Yangming emphasizes efforts on "thought",which ensures the consistent movement of time.From sitting quietly,examining and controlling,sincerity and the extension of conscience,Wang Yangming made a specific and in-depth exploration on the sanctification,and finally took "the extension of conscience" as the purposeof learning,gist of effort,and organically included Cheng-Zhu's theories of effort to establish a mature system of mind school and effort theories.Wang Yangming's understanding of the saints is that "the Thought of Conscience does not hinder popular",so that the thought of conscience for things;The sage is the perfect combination of benevolence,wisdom and courage: the sage's benevolence is based on the unity of all things,the sage's wisdom is constantly seeking his conscience,the sage's courage is reflected in the determination to eliminate evil thoughts.From the dimension of "Thought",we can also have a deeper understanding of Wang Yangming's philosophical spirit of " being by You,being by Wu,combining You with Wu ".
