In recent years,the world economy has continued to show signs of lild recovery,and the global exhibition industry presented the omnidirectional,diversified and stable tendency.With the Chinese economy entering into a "new normal",both domestic and foreign trade has maintained a steady growth,and the adjustment of supply-side structural reform has made fruitful achievements.With the increasing number of international exhibitions held in China,there are more and more foreign exhibitors coming to China and to promote their products,thus,an eligible exhibition interpreter will be an indispensable role while conducting the business communication and negotiation through different languages and cultures.However,the existing exhibition interpreters cannot satisfy the demand of the increasing exhibitions.The report discusses four interpreting practices of the author,which can be divided into five parts.The first part introduces the internship of the author and the source of the interpreting projects.The second part summarizes the preparation of the author before the interpreting praetice.The third part sums up the intercultural communication barriers caused by cultural differences according to the examples during the interpreting practice,including differences in religions,social customs,thought patterns and value systens,and explores the corresponding coping strategies,such as literal interpreting,free interpreting,explanation,addition and omission.The fourth part is the feedback and evaluation from the clients and the self-evaluation of the author.And the fifth part concludes the limitations of the report and the expectations on the further learning and work.
