Analysis Of The Performance Of Outlines In Figurative Oil Painting Figures

In order to explore the relationship between the outline and the various elements in the figurative concrete oil painting,and the influence of the outlines of different expressions on the style of figurative concrete oil painting.The study was carried out from two aspects:profile with obvious lines in figures in representational realism and profile composed of volumetric plane in figures in representational expressionism.Through comparative analysis of different artists' works,it is concluded that the different forms of outline are the fundamental reasons for the differences in painting styles of oil painting figures.The outline is embodied in the figurative figures in representational realism in the form of explicit lines.The figure's edge is graceful and elegant,and the figure's image is full of reality.The outline is embodied in the figurative profile composed of volumetric plane in the form of explicit lines.The sharp figures with clear edges are full of Sculpture sense.The outline is embodied in the figurative profile composed of volumetric plane in the form of recessive block.The solid edge of the characters is rich in space sense.Through the creation practice of the series of "Symbiosis with Plants",the role of contour expressions in the representation of oil painting figures was further explored.In Symbiosis with Plants(1),the figure outline was depicted in the form of explicit line drawing,which highlights the soft and beautiful shape features of the figure outline and makes the character stand out from the background.In Symbiosis with Plants(2),plant contours were depicted in the form of recessive block,which highlight the morphological characteristics of the hard and straight contours of plants and strengthen the content of plant expression.In Symbiosis with Plants(3)and(4),plant contours were embodied in the form of combination of explicit line drawing and recessive block drawing,which makes them better integrate with the form of figure line drawing,strengthens the sense of space and form,and enriches the language of figure painting in concrete oil painting.Different forms of outlines present different artistic effects in different styles.The different forms of outlines provide more expressive content and shaping space for concrete oil painting characters.
